Adam Fischer and Hunter Glaske launched Night Traveler in 2018 with nothing but a song: no fanbase, no live shows, just their debut single “1984” released into the void. Within a month, it had 100,000 streams.
The music spoke for itself.
Since then, the Austin-based duo has refined a signature sound that draws comparisons to The War on Drugs and The Paper Kites while carving out distinctly their own lane. Their guitar-forward production, pocket grooves, and emotive melodies evoke the subtle sensuality of a late-night drive or last call at a local dive bar. With confessional lyrics exploring love, loss, and the complexities of relationships, Night Traveler’s music creates an honest connection with listeners across generations.
As multi-instrumentalists who write, perform, and often produce their own material, Fischer and Glaske have transformed unconventional spaces into creative sanctuaries, setting up sessions everywhere from lakeside retreats to a remote cabin in New Mexico. Their debut album Dreams You Don’t Forget arrived in 2021 to unexpected acclaim, followed by their sophomore release Hotspot in November 2024, which was later named Musicbed’s Album of the Year. In 2025, the band opened for Stevie Nicks on select tour dates and was recently named a 2026 Gibson Spotlight Artist.
